Who we are

Young Climate Voters BC is a nonpartisan coalition of college & university students working to make climate justice a priority for those in positions of political power.

Our mission

Together for Tomorrow is a campaign that aims to empower youth to vote, and to demonstrate to political candidates that climate action is a priority for young people. Our mission is to create a collective force of young voters who will demand that our leaders take meaningful and immediate action on climate to protect our future.

The campaign calls for a government that will take a strong stance on climate change through the following pillars: upholding Indigenous rights, securing an economy based in renewable technologies, ensuring clean democracy, and shifting beyond a dependency on fossil fuels. You can find out more about our pillar issues here.

Our strategy
  • Get out the vote on campuses across British Columbia. In order to create transformation we need to first empower students to vote! This phase will focus on registering students to vote, distributing informational material and connecting students to polling stations.
  • Vote with climate in mind. By creating an election campaign centered on climate change issues, our aim is to show politicians that young voters are calling for strong climate leadership among all parties.
